KlarVPN includes a built-in Speed Test so users can check how a selected VPN location is performing. Use it when browsing feels slow, video calls feel unstable, streaming buffers, apps take longer to load, or a selected server feels slower than expected.
The test helps users understand the connection using five main values: download speed, upload speed, latency, jitter, and packet loss. These numbers can change from one test to another because mobile networks, Wi-Fi, ISP routing, distance, and server choice can all affect performance.
Run a speed test
1. Open Speed Test and start the test
Tap Speed Test in the bottom navigation. Confirm the selected VPN Server and VPN IP, then tap the play button to begin. |

2. Wait while KlarVPN finds the test server
The first stage is Finding server. The value may show 0.0 while KlarVPN selects the speed test server and prepares the measurement. |

3. Let the latency check finish
The test then measures latency. Latency is the response time between your device and the test server. Lower latency usually means the connection feels faster when opening websites, using calls, or switching between pages. |

4. Let the download test finish
The download stage measures how quickly data reaches your device. This affects browsing, streaming, app downloads, and loading large pages or files. |
Download - Mbps |
5. Let the upload test finish
The upload stage measures how quickly your device can send data. Upload speed matters for video calls, sending files, cloud backups, and live streaming.

6. Review the speed test results
The completed result lists the selected server, VPN IP, protocol, download speed, upload speed, latency, jitter, and packet loss. These values help explain whether a connection issue is related to speed, responsiveness, stability, or packet delivery. |
