KlarVPN is designed to protect internet traffic through an encrypted private tunnel without storing browsing activity as traffic logs.
Before you start
This article explains KlarVPN privacy behavior in the mobile app.

What “no traffic logs” means
Traffic logs are records that could show browsing behavior, websites visited, DNS requests, destination servers, or the content passing through the VPN tunnel.
KlarVPN does not store traffic logs that include:

What “no logs” means in daily use
When KlarVPN is connected, your device sends internet traffic through the KlarVPN tunnel. Websites and apps see the VPN exit connection instead of your normal network connection.
KlarVPN still needs to operate the tunnel in real time while your connection is active. The important privacy difference is that KlarVPN does not keep activity records after forwarding that traffic.

Status and diagnostic information are different from browsing logs
No traffic logs does not mean the app has no status information at all. KlarVPN may show account status, tunnel status, recent session summaries, bandwidth counters, or technical tunnel messages. These are not the same as browsing history, DNS logs, destination records, or packet contents.

DNS and WebRTC leak protection
A DNS leak happens when a device sends DNS requests outside the VPN tunnel. A WebRTC leak can happen when a browser exposes the real IP address through browser features. KlarVPN includes a DNS and WebRTC leak test in the Help area so users can check their connection while connected to the VPN
